Commonwealth & Council presents Demolition Woman: Preview at PULSE Los Angeles. Demolition Woman is a forthcoming, off-site exhibition of works by an intergenerational community of artists in pursuit of a collective commonwealth. Utilizing physical, textual, and symbolic stratagems, Demolition Woman dismantles shoddy infrastructures of knowledge and social order to regenerate an open system that extends and safeguards our co-existence.

For this preview, Commonwealth & Council selects works by Kelly Cline, Margaret Honda, and Jen Smith.

Kelly Cline is an artist currently living in Los Angeles. Recent exhibitions include Goldilocks at Gallery Spatium and Hack at Statler Waldorf Gallery. Eve Fowler recently wrote about her work in Artillery: Queered (May/June 2011 issue). She received her BFA from Penn State University and her MFA from CalArts.
